For a Campus Minister, Vendor Days is about establishing the presence of the Faith and Life Centre and its value in the life of Brock. The university is the congregation or parish, and the ministry addresses students, faculty, and staff alike. There are many student faith groups, but there is also counselling, committee work, university ceremonies, administration, and fulfilling a valued advisory role. Students of course are a main focus, but just like in the church the ministry is very diverse.
It is great to begin a new year of ministry at Brock. The Anglican, Presbyterian, United, and Unitarian communities deserve thanks for supporting this special ministry and making life a Brock more than just academic study.
